The SESAME consortium partners came together for the first full project meeting on 15-16 February organised as a video conference due to the pandemic restrictions. Each of the research and development partners introduced the technologies they bring to the project for developing the model-based methods, nature-inspired technologies, and AI data-driven techniques for multi-robot systems development, deployment, and security and safety assurance. In addition, the five industrial Use Case partners described the current robotic systems and the multi-robot design and deployment capabilities needed for their respective industries. The meeting also addressed the planning of the first deliverables focused on describing and prioritising the detailed industrial requirements that will drive the research and development in the project over the next three years.
